If you live in a hard to heat high cost property, which are properties with an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) of D,E,F, or G (if you do not have an EPC, we will arrange one with your survey). You will experience higher heating costs due to the age, location and design of your property. If this is the case and someone in the property is in receipt of one of the income related benefits listed below:

  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
  • Income Support (IS)
  • Income-related Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Credit Working Tax Credit (WTC)
  • Pension Credit Savings Credit
  • Pension Credit Guarantee
  • Universal Credit (UC)
  • Housing Benefit
  • Child Tax Credits (CTC)

Or you have an household income of under £31,000.

Or someone in the property has a condition listed under the NICE guidelines (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence)

These health conditions may fall under one of the four umbrella conditions:

  • A cardiovascular condition.
  • A respiratory disease, such as asthma.
  • Limited mobility.
  • Immunosuppression.

Any one of these three routes will qualify you for free energy saving measures, such as heating systems, insulation and solar panels.

If you need any advice or information on any of this please contact us, there is no cost or obligation whatsoever.
